Is Griezmann finally about to annouce his future?

Strap in folks because the rumor mill is heading into overdrive as Antoine Griezmann is set to feature at a press conference at 14:30 (CEST) where he might just announce his future.

Indeed Canal+ in France have already decided what he’s going to say and reckon he’s staying at Atletico Madrid. Apparently he’s set for a big pay rise and Atletico are close to signing Thomas Lemar too.

If Griezmann does intend on staying with Diego Simeone’s side this does appear to be the perfect time to finally announce that this is what he plans to do.

Over in Spain, El Chiringuito TV report that Griezmann has already agreed some kind of deal with Barcelona so if he does stay he’ll have to pay a fine.

Of course Griezmann could also announce he’s leaving or he could continue to frustrate everyone by saying he won’t talk about his future today.
