Barcelona set Champions League own goal record against Roma
Barcelona made history yet again on Wednesday night as they beat Roma 4-1 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final.
Own goals from Daniele De Rossi and Konstantinos Manolas put Barcelona in charge before Gerard Pique added a third and Luis Suarez sealed it after Edin Dzeko had pulled one back.
Barca’s top scorer in the competition this season is Lionel Messi and next up is none other than own goal with five. And that’s a new record.
5 - Barcelona have benefited from more own goals this CL season than any other team has in one season in Champions League history. Helpful.

Meanwhile, Luis Suarez finally ended his long goal drought with a first Champions League goal of the season and his first for a while.

He still has some way to go to keep up with own goal though.
