Has Sampaoli dropped hint that Messi will play against Spain?
Argentina coach Jorge Sampaoli has appeared to drop a hint that Lionel Messi will indeed feature in Argentina’s friendly with Spain on Tuesday at the Wanda Metropolitano.
The Barca star missed Friday’s game against Italy at the Etihad Stadium due to injury and admitted he’s been carrying a hamstring problem for some time.
He subsequently missed training on Saturday but was back out with the squad on Sunday where a photograph caught a sneaky peek of Sampaoli’s notes.

According to clues from Sampaoli's notes, @Argentina will make changes for the friendly against Spain on Tuesday & Messi could yet feature:

Messi’s name can be clearly seen in the lineup although obviously it’s pretty difficult to tell just from the pictures if that is indeed the lineup to face Spain.
Obviously if Messi has any problem whatsoever he really shouldn’t be playing but you can bet Barcelona are watching the situation pretty nervously at the moment.
