Antoine Griezmann says he doesn’t know where he will play next

Barcelona have been linked with the Atletico star

Antoine Griezmann was back in action for France on Sunday, scoring the second goal in a 2-0 international friendly win over Bolivia in Nantes.

Rather predictably the subject of his future came up after the match, and he was asked where he would be playing his football next season.

Griezmann has already announced he will be leaving Atletico Madrid but reckons he does not know his next destination.

“I do not know, it’s a good question,” he said. “We’ll see, everything in time.

“It is always something wonderful to play for the French national team. We enjoy it because it is not every player who can live that.

“We are here to represent France and French football. We are proud to play in France also.”

Barcelona still appear to be favourites for the Frenchman’s signature, although it is unlikely that anything will happen until July 1st when his release clause is believed to drop to €120m.
