Dembélé cleared to face United
The young Frenchman has been medically cleared for Wednesday’s game
Huge news for Barcelona ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League quarterfinal against Manchester United at Old Trafford: Ousmane Dembélé has been medically cleared after the pre-match training session in Manchester and is available for selection, the club announced on Tuesday.
Dembélé was last seen in action when he scored as a substitute against Lyon in the second leg of the Round of 16 at Camp Nou. The next day it was announced the player would miss between three and four weeks with a hamstring injury, and 28 days later he’s back and ready to play again.
The Frenchman is unlikely to start and there’s a good chance he doesn’t play depending on the tactical circumstances of the game and with fellow winger Malcom in great form at the moment, but the fact he’ll be at least on the bench is awesome news.
Welcome back, Ous!
