Barcelona turn down a white kit idea from Nike - report
Barcelona turned down a kit idea from Nike that featured them in a glorious white shirt with a couple of red stripes, according to Mundo Deportivo. The idea was turned down by the higher ups at Barcelona, likely due to the fact that Real Madrid usually feature a white home kit.
Fans of Barcelona’s history will remember that of course Barcelona rocked a combination of white shirts and shorts back in the day. Here’s a thread that shows some of the history behind Barcelona in white.

Whether or not you like Barcelona’s white kit proposal is dependent upon your enjoyment of kits that take risks. Barcelona have jumped on the weird and colorful kit bandwagon in recent years, but apparently white was just a bridge too far for the Barcelona board.
