Barça squad named for Valencia
Ernesto Valverde has called up 19 players for Saturday’s home game
The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana put their eight-game winning streak in La Liga on the line when they welcome Valencia to Camp Nou, and Ernesto Valverde has called up the following 19 players to be in the squad for this one:
Goalkeepers: 1. Marc-André ter Stegen, 30. Iñaki Peña
Defenders: 2. Nélson Semedo, 3. Gerard Piqué, 15. Clément Lenglet, 17. Jeison Murillo, 18. Jordi Alba, 24. Thomas Vermaelen
Midfielders: 4. Ivan Rakitic, 7. Philippe Coutinho, 8. Arthur, 16. Sergi Samper, 20. Sergi Roberto, 21. Carles Aleñá, 22. Arturo Vidal
Forwards: 9. Luis Suárez, 10. Lionel Messi, 14. Malcom, 19. Kevin-Prince Boateng
For this game Ernesto Valverde was not able to select the suspended Sergio Busquets, as well as the injured Ousmane Dembélé (ankle), Samuel Umtiti (knee), Jasper Cillessen (calf) and Rafinha (knee). New signing Jean-Clair Todibo is not yet ready to make his debut, and will watch from the stands along with one of the players in the 19-man group that will be cut from the final matchday squad.
