Rumors: Barca offered Salah and want Lemar, Pjanic and Koulibaly

Barcelona offered Mohamed Salah

Today’s rumors give you the distinct impression that silly season has finally arrived with AS claiming that Mohamed Salah’s agents have offered the Liverpool star to Barcelona.

Apparently the Egyptian’s representatives are ready to open negotiations and there have already been meetings to discuss the possibility of a move.

Liverpool would want at least €100 million for Salah and have already signed Nabil Fekir who will replace the Egyptian.

Barcelona are said to know that Salah would be interested in a move and now have to figure out how to convince Liverpool. Good luck with that.

Barcelona ask about Lemar

Meanwhile, Sport reckon that Barcelona have revived their interest in Thomas Lemar and have asked Monaco just how much it will cost to snap up the Frenchman.

Lemar is seen as an easier alternative to Christian Eriksen and is expected to cost around €70-90 million.

Pjanic over Eriksen for Barca

However, Mundo Deportivo reckon that Miralem Pjanic is Barcelona’s favoured alternative to Eriksen.

The Juventus midfielder is liked for his versatility, set-piece ability and would be much cheaper and easier to sign than Eriksen.

Injury to Carles Alena and delay in signing Arthur means that midfield is becoming a priority for Barcelona in the summer transfer window and they are ready to step up their interest in Pjanic.

Atletico prepare Griezmann’s new deal

Over at Cope’s El Partidazo program they are so convinced that Antoine Griezmann is staying at Barcelona that they reckon Atletico Madrid are already preparing his new deal.

The club will bump up his release clause and also hand him a big, fat pay rise that will see him net €23 million per season.

Griezmann could even put pen to paper on the deal at the weekend in his hometown of Lyon as France play the United States at the Stade de Lyon on Saturday.

Barcelona to offer clash plus a player for Koulibaly

Back to Sport and they also reckon that Barcelona still want to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.

The Spanish champions are willing to splash out €40m plus Paco Alcacer, Andre Gomes or Denis Suarez for the defender.

However, they are not the only team interested as Premier League sides Arsenal and Chelsea are both in the race.

Deulofeu heading to Watford for €10m

And finally today we end with news that Gerard Deulofeu is close to a permanent move to Watford, according to reports.

Barcelona bought him back last summer for €12m, he has a release clause of €20m but is going to join the Hornets for just €10m.
