Iniesta misses training ahead of the Clasico

Andres Iniesta looks like he may be a little doubt for Sunday’s Clasico against Real Madrid after missing training with the group on Thursday.

The midfielder did not start last weekend’s win over Deportivo La Coruna because of a small injury concern but did come on for the final few minutes.

Barcelona had been given a few days off after that game and were only back in training today with Iniesta not joining the group and instead doing “specific work” according to the club.

Iniesta will surely be desperate to play in the Clasico for a final time before he heads off for pastures new at the end of the season.

The midfielder was in simply superb form in the Copa del Rey final, and you hope that if he is fit for Sunday’s game he just come up with a similar display in his last ever Clasico.
