Ter Stegen tells Barcelona to sign Thiago

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen reckons it would be a pretty good idea for his club to bring Thiago back to the Camp Nou.

There have been a few little rumors that Bayern Munich would be willing to part with Thiago this summer but it remains to be seen if Barcelona would be interested.

Ter Stegen thinks it’s a great idea and he was happy to explain just why the signing would work out.

“I would like to have Thiago at Barca. His playing style suits us and from our viewpoint he is an interesting personality,” he said.

“Thiago is a special type of player. He definitely would offer us different possibilities. If a transfer happened, it would be brilliant both for him and for us.”

Thiago left for Bayern in 2013 and has been pretty coy when talking about his future recently. There’s no doubting his quality but his injury record is a bit of a worry.
